Realistic German Shepherd Hat

Okies, this was my first attempt at super sculpting detailed realisitc ears out of hat fleece .

<sub>This hat is based off of 's Riley the German Shepherd character design. Thats riley in the images above ^^. is a very talented artist and makes all sorts of cool costumes herself. Like seriously has a shocking and amazing gallery of variety and has a busload of talent and realy I was shocked she wanted me to do anything for her.
So I worked my ass off on making this the most detailed, realistic dog hat I could.

This was the origonal concept design:
And after discussion we decided to go with painted fur and realistic ears (as the ears are sketched realistically but the colouring isn't)


I had a hard time sticking to all the proportions of the design... Because some image angles are impossible from other sides with the hat base I made etc AND I was limited by the paint colours I could mix without special ordering fancey paints.... But I did my best!


Anyway this is what fruit our brainstorming bore <3</sub>

This hat features
Mega Poseable from all axis ears, there are three wire frames in each ear so almost any varition on pose is possible
Hand painted fur texture markings and ears (including a two-toned right ear with subtle colour variations)
A small brim custom hat base
A Spooky realistic design
